Thor: Love and Thunder – Natalie Portman speaks about her training for the movie!

In Thor: Love and Thunder, Jane is to take over Mjolnir and become Mighty Thor. Natalie Portman had to properly prepare for this role, as she told in one of the latest interviews.

Jane Foster is set to become the new or second Thor. We don’t know exactly how it will play out in the movie. Perhaps Oddison would be just the protector of the Earth, and not a ruler he never felt. Speaking to Vanity Fair, Natalie Portman told about her preparations.

It was really fun. I worked with the trainer, Naomi Pendergast, for what I think was four months before shooting, and then of course for the entire time of filming. We did a lot of weight training, and I drank a ton of protein shakes – and also, a heavyweight workout that I had never done before. Of course, I never tried to become massive. It was very physical so there was a lot of both skill and strength work.

The actress commented on how the training helped her embody the character of Mighty Thor even better.

It definitely helps you get into character and has definitely changed the way I move. You walk differently; you feel different. so wild that for the first time in my life I felt strong.
