According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ben Kingsley, Rachel Bloom and Pattie LuPone have joined the cast of Netflix’s new fantasy film The School for Good and Evil. It is worth adding that the production ranks were also joined by Rob Delaney, Mark Heap and Peter Serafinowicz. The School for Good and Evil is an adaptation of the novel by Soman Chainani.

The stars of The School for Good and Evil are Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie. In addition, the production cast also includes Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Flatters, Earl Cave, Emma Lau, Kit Young and Briony Scarlett.
The plot of the production will follow in the footsteps of two best friends, Sophie and Agata. The girls discover the location of the school attended by fairy-tale legends. This is the School of Good and Bad! Sophie realizes that she will likely be selected for the School of Good, and will therefore join such alumni as Cinderella and Snow White. Meanwhile, Agatha’s future is undeniably tied to the School of Evil. However, when the girls’ fortunes turn unexpectedly, their friendship is put to a severe test and the protagonists discover who they really are.

Paul Feig will direct the film from a screenplay by David Magee and Laura Solon.
