At exactly 2:30 AM we got the official trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home. We learned some important details, but didn’t see Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in it. Were they removed from it? It looks!
During the Sandman, Electro and Lizard fight scene, we only see Peter Parker played by Tom Holland. However, in the Brazilian version of the trailer, we have quite an interesting detail. You can definitely see Lizard getting hit by someone “invisible” and Electro not interested in fighting Spider-Man who we see in the center of the screen. It does not seem to be a bug, and it is a game of Marvel and Sony studios on purpose.
Removing the versions played by Tobey and Andrew from the trailer? Very likely!
After revealing Spider-Man’s secret identity in the final moments of Far From Home, Peter Parker will ask Doctor Strange to restore his secret identity through magic – similar to the 2007 comic book One More Day. However, not everything will go so smoothly, as Parker’s interference with Strange’s spell will seriously disturb the multiverse. Spider-Man will consequently have to face Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) and Electro (Jamie Foxx). The return of Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Lizard by Dylan Baker from the Sam Raimi trilogy or Rhys Ifans from The Amazing Spider-Man is also suspected. Additionally, fans await the highly likely return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to the role of Spider-Man.
