Spider-Man: No Way Home – Charlie Cox comments on rumors of his return

After the release of the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, the internet started to boil. Many Marvel fans say we got to see Charlie Cox performed Matt Murdock there. The actor commented on these rumors.

Without a doubt, Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most anticipated MCU Phase 4 movies. We know that the main plot of the film will be the Multiverse, and we will also see many characters known from the Sony universe. After the trailer was released, Marvel fans said that in addition to characters like Dr. Octopus or Green Goblin, Matt Murdock will also return, and Charlie Cox will play his role again.

In a recent interview, the actor was asked what he thought about all the speculations about his return. He says these aren’t his hands, but in an interview with Steve Varley he said something like this:

I’m a little concerned about all of this, so it’s hard for me to talk about it. I don’t want to spoil the surprise for people. Let me just say this: we all have to wait for the premiere of the movie and see what happens.

Filming for the sequel Far From Home began in late October. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is set to play a key role in the film, along with Jamie Foxx’s Electro, a role that Foxx previously played in the non-MCU film The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

After Spider-Man’s secret identity was revealed in Far From Home’s final moments, fans expect Tom Holland’s Peter Parker to turn to Strange for help escaping to safety in the multiverse or restoring his secret identity through magic – similar to 2007 in One More Day comic.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, part of the IV MCU, will premiere on December 17, 2021.
