As we know, Michael Keaton will return to the role of Vulture in the movie Morbius. The actor admits that he did not understand what the film’s script was about.
The Morbius movie is part of the Marvel universe that belongs to Sony. It is known that Tom Holland will return to the role of Spider-Man in future Sony movies, so it is logical that the characters from the MCU movies we know from the previous two Spider-Man movies are also associated with this universe.
As it turns out, when Micheal Keaton was asked to repeat his role in Morbius, he couldn’t understand what was going on. The Multiverse thread seems to have crept into this movie, just like in the upcoming MCU Phase 4 productions.
They started telling me about the logic of a fictional universe, referring to the last points of the Marvel storyline. I nod my head as if I know what they’re talking about. I go and think they might as well explain quantum physics to me now. All I know is that I know my character and his story. Eventually they looked at me and just started laughing. They said, “You don’t know what we’re talking about, do you?” I replied, “No, I have no idea what you are talking about.”
