Less than a month remains until Eternals, the upcoming Marvel Studios movie! Every day we receive more and more promotional materials, but today we are not talking about that. This time we learned something about the scene, or rather the scenes after the credits!
During the slow promotion of Eternals, production director Chloe Zhao made a brief comment about the post-credits scenes! Specifically, in an interview with Fandango, the Oscar winner was asked if viewers should stay for “something special” after the credits. Zhao had this to say:
Yes! Don’t stay for the first scene only – stay for the second too. They are equally important and both have many surprises for you.
But what can we expect from these scenes? Maybe the main characters will meet one of the members of the Avengers, or another team from the ever-expanding MCU? In my opinion, in the first scene we will get something that will connect these heroes more with the MCU, and in the second maybe some hint of what we can expect in a possible sequel. But these are only my inventions. We will have to wait a few more weeks for the answer.
Eternals is a Phase 4 MCU movie. Initially, it was supposed to debut in November 2020, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed to November 5, 2021. The super-production tells the story of the eponymous group of immortal alien creatures created by the Celestial race, who were sent to Earth to protect the planet from their evil counterparts called Deviants. According to the fragmentary information, it is known that the plot of the production takes place over thousands of years.
The superhero spectacle is directed by Chloé Zhao, who won an Oscar for Nomadland. The main roles were cast by such stars as: Angelina Jolie (Thena), Richard Madden (Ikaris), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Lia McHugh (Sprite), Don Lee (Gilgamesh) , Gemma Chan (Sersi), Kit Harrington (Dane Whitman / Black Knight), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Barry Keoghan (Druig).
