How many things can go “wrong” on the most important day of the Bride and Groom? Much, much more than you think. Here is a comedy of errors in which an attempt to find out who is who and what is hiding from whom will seem impossible to disentangle. The Perfect Wedding is a new film by the producer of the Mayday hit – Wojtek Pałys, based on a script he wrote with the film’s director Nick Moran and the co-author of the unforgettable Lejdis – Hanna Węsierska. On the screen we will see Adam Woronowicz, Aleksandra Adamska, Ewa Kasprzyk, Krzysztof Stelmaszyk, Piotr Głowacki, Magdalena Lamparska, Aleksandra Popławska, Paweł Deląg, Sandra Staniszewska, Krzysztof Czeczot, Andrzej Grabowski and many others. As with Mayday, the idea for the film was based on a daring theatrical play, this time by Robin Hawdon. The Perfect Wedding will hit theaters in January 2023.
Description of the film: This wedding did not look like its best from the very beginning. The bride (Aleksandra Adamska) is pregnant, and her possessive mum (Ewa Kasprzyk) does not want to hear about the real father of the child. The groom (Adam Woronowicz) basically does not know his future wife, and he was forced to marry by eloquent blackmail by his future mother-in-law. When the wedding day arrives, a real avalanche of events begins. The groom wakes up in the bridal suite with a gigantic headache after a boisterous bachelor party, alongside a stranger woman. There is a knock on the door, it is necessary to act quickly and hide the mistress in the bathroom. Fortunately, it’s just the best man (Piotr Głowacki). Unfortunately, a moment later the future bride and her mother burst into the same room. If both gentlemen want to get out alive – they must quickly come up with an alternative version of events. But that only makes it worse, because with each lie they fall into the next. It will soon turn out that everyone here has something to hide. This day is beginning to be the biggest catastrophe in the life of the future mother-in-law, father-in-law, witness, wedding planner and everyone else. The trouble that awaits them and escaping from them will seem like an impossible volte. And even if they succeed, it will only be a second of silence before the storm and a prelude to what else awaits them. One thing seems certain: this wedding will be discussed for a long time. Just a question … is it like mommy wanted?
